Christian Lopez

Founder, CEO & Quarterback Developer

Lopez is a native of New York, growing up in The Bronx where he attended High School at Felisa Rincon De Gautier Institute for Law and Public Policy. There he played Quarterback for the Stevenson Campus Ambassadors. Collegiately, Lopez attended ASA Junior College, which consistently ranks in the NJCAA as a top 20 team. Lopez then played both QB and DB at Fitchburg State University. 

In 2018 Lopez served as Offensive Coordinator for the Mass Phoenix semi-pro team. He helped lead the offense to a 7-3-1 regular-season record averaging 28.4 points per game and to a semi-finals playoff appearance in their first year. Lopez also served as Lunenburg High School’s pass defense coordinator and QB coach. Lopez helped lead the school to an appearance in the district championship game in 2018, with 17 interceptions on the season and an 8-3 record.

In 2019, Lopez served as both the QB and DB coach at Leominster High School.

In 2021, Lopez was given the nod as the Offensive Coordinator for the Fitchburg High School Red Raiders in Fitchburg Ma. Under Lopez the Red Raiders improved in every offensive category going from 15.8 points per game to 32.7 Points per game and an overall record of 4-1 in a shortened fall 2 spring season.  Starting the season against Hingham High School the Red Raiders put together a 400 yard offensive performance and Ending the season against Oakmont High School with a 570 yard offensive performance. Lopez made history along side Head Coach Greg Graham and Defensive Coordinator Genaro Hall as the first African Americans at their position in Fitchburg High School history. 

As the Founder/CEO of QB1 Mentality his focus is on improving QB and skill position mechanics, reactions, and football IQ. Lopez has worked with athletes of all levels, from youth to professional levels across the country. QB1 also serves as a global consultant group for several overseas teams and has been involved with over 100 camps and clinics. Lopez is also the author of “EX-L”, a stage 1 training manual for quarterbacks, coaches and parents. 

Lopez brings an extensive knowledge of techniques on both sides of the football, an eye for recognizing and exploiting weaknesses in opponents game plan and a unique ability to relate with players from all demographics.
